Listening to your guests and their various stories and paths of how they earned the title of military aviator added fuel to the fire that was already burning in me. I buckled down, contacted the right recruiter and, over the course of a few months, took the army’s flight aptitude test, flight physical, completed my packet and finally went in front of the board.
I was successful and, pending a conditional release from the Army Reserve where I am currently serving, will be heading to the U.S. Army’s flight school at Ft. Rucker, AL to learn to fly the UH-60 Blackhawk.
